Height of piers and seismic verification condition

Hello,

could you please answer me the following 2 questions:

- why is the seismic verification for ULS preformed through the check d(n)>=pd*dtULS. Is this according to EC? In EC I cannot find any additional parameter pd=1,5.

- which height of piers is taken into account for the seismic analysis. For example, if I have a pier situated between 2 windows, is the height of the pier reduced or is its height taken as the elevation height?

Thank you!

Import DXF

In version 1.20 I've discovered some problems with DXF import. The problem is that "Import DXF" dialog can't accept previously defined materials. This problem appears when selecting previously defined wall material and parapet material.

It is possible to use the option to import new material properties and they are accepted, but you need to import new material property every time you use "Import DXF" so you end up with at least 5-6 material properties for one type of wall.

I've been using almoust every version of AmQuake so far, and "Import DXF" dialog worked correctly in every version except version 1.20. I hope that it will be fixed soon.

The recommended value is 0.50 (see EN 1998-1, Section 4.3.1 (7)).

How is this parameter taken into account during the calculation. Is the cross section stiffness automaticly reduced to 1/2 in the begining or is this factor included somehow else?
